About Me.. Where to begin? I was stabbed in the head and left for dead at a young age. Since then I’ve held a different outlook on life. I grew up with disposables and polaroids always in my hands, I saved all summer for my first t2i right after I decided I was done with Highschool..

I take photos of moments that should be remembered. Sometimes in that moment, it could seem inconsequential, but as I grow older I realize just how important photos can be, how powerful capturing the right moments is for the history of who we are as people.

My friend Big Zach said it best when he used one of my photos for a public eulogy post of our friend Everett, “Some people say they don’t like their picture taken because they feel like it steals a part of your soul. I agree with them, because those photos are the parts of you that live on after you die..”

In the years since i’ve picked up a camera, I’ve taken countless photos of friends and loved ones that are no longer with us. As a photographer, I take this very seriously. My goal every time I compose a photo in the moment, it’s because I KNOW this will be something worth remembering. Trust me..
